Life is a funny thing and I have known Troy for most of mine.  Troy does not remember when we 1st met.  It was way way back in my sophomore year of high school.   There was going to be a fight after school.  Yep some guy going to fight my friend, Rob.  I was excited!!  I love watching idiots fight.  Needless to say my friend won the fight so while the rest of my friend’s friends were talking with him about the fight.  I, being a not so good punk kid that I was.  Went to go rub the losers kid nose in the fact that he lost.  That kid looked up at me from the ground all bloody and said “yeah, but he won’t ever treat her like that again”  I had no idea what he was talking about and just walked away, but I knew I like the guy that got beat up defending another.

A year later, Troy and I shared a math class.  I worked so hard to try to understand math, but being dyslectic math was hard for me.  So I was shamed when it was that looser kid who I had teased the year before who started tutoring me in math.  I did not even ask, he just saw that I needed the help and gave it to me.  I did get to make up for my poor behavior the previous year when no one wanted to be the skinny kids workout partner so I became his work out partner, and we became true friends.

Life has its ups and downs as Troy and I went through ours we came in and out of each other’s lives.  When I went though my divorce it just happened that Troy was needing a place to stay so he moved in with me and my son.  At this time I was back in college, taking an English class,  being a graduate of Natrona County High School my English writing skills were severely  below standards.  Once Troy realized that I was struggling he would write my papers with me and explain to me why he chose the words he chose, until I had gained enough knowledge and aptitude to argue with him why I was right and he was wrong.  Oh we would argue about them papers.  And I was learning so much from him about how to express myself on paper.  My college professor did know that I was getting extra instruction and was fine with it as he saw that I was learning to write at a phenomenal pace.

In the time that Troy and I have been friends I have been able to watch that looser skinny kid become a man.  One that has always been passionate about defending people, but more interested in persevering and mentoring other people's ability to defend and protect themselves,  a person who will not argue with you, but who will educate you and hope you will come to the same conclusions, and if you don’t then he will honestly try to understand where there is a hole in his education that has led you to your belief. And educate himself on it.

This passion that Troy has always had to defend others and defend thier rights. Has sometimes lead him to impetuous actions such as the e-mail to Nethercott.

Some would say that he does not deserve to represent house 52 because of this.  I would say to those people they don’t deserve a man of Troys passion to represent them…

Troy would disagree with me.  But he was silly enough to give me the password to this site so I can change things BWA HA HA HA!  I said I was his friend.  I nerver said I was a good friend!
